My name is Jane Wrigglesworth. I’m a writer, editor and grower of cut flowers who keeps herself pretty busy. I write for the fabulous NZ Gardener and NZ House & Garden magazines as well as having a weekly column in Your Weekend (the weekend magazine for the Dominion Post, The Press and Waikato Times). I also have a weekly column in the Otago and Southland community papers and a fortnightly column in The Southland Times and Manawatu Standard.
I previously edited Weekend Gardener magazine and was Associate Editor of NZ Gardener. I was also editor of TVNZ’s Home and Garden web pages.
On top of that, I run my own media business, Plain Jane Media, where I write, edit, sub-edit and proof all manner of things.
I am also founder and editor of Sweet Living magazine, a free online lifestyle magazine which features crafts, food and backyard sustainability. As well, I edit HerbNews, the quarterly journal for the Herb Federation of New Zealand.
And come spring each year, I madly plant a gazillion annuals (and some perennials) to fuel my cut flower obsession.
It keeps me busy.
