Shoe gnomes

This has to be the cutest way to keep tiny gumboots from wandering. The top two photos come from bluebirdbaby and were crafted by Erin who was inspired by the bottom photo, taken by Amy. I couldn’t agree more with Erin. “They keep all her (that’s young Elisabeth’s) little shoes together and add the right amount of magic to one of the dirtiest rooms in the house! And they are just so darn cute.” All you need are some old-fashioned wooden pegs, which I spotted at my local $2 shop, and some fabric offcuts. The bell for the hat is optional.
