Love lies bleeding

It can look tacky, but the gals at Saipua have turned it into tasteful. Love-lies-bleeding (Amaranthus caudatus), seen here sporting its long blood-red tassels, looks decidedly hot in amongst the peonies, roses and lisianthus. You can easily grow your own.
