Alstroemerias and roses

I’m in two minds about alstroemerias. On the one hand they’re long-blooming (they flower from spring till autumn) and their vase life is exceptional. On the other hand, they’re slightly old-fashioned. But with new colours being introduced yearly, they’re starting to catch my eye again. This lovely bouquet features roses, silver-leafed dusty miller, and pale-coloured alstroemerias. In my mind, the paler the alstroemeria, the prettier it is.
